Silent Hill 3 Hitting Theaters in 3D

Fangoria is reporting that news has come out about Silent Hill 3 at the American Film Market. The movie, titled Silent Hill: Revelation, is being written and directed by Michael J. Bassett. Furthermore, the studios have revealed that the movie will be jumping on the bandwagon and hitting theaters in 3D.

Lionsgate, Konami and Davis Films are the studios behind the project. Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody will be producing.

The synopsis for Silent Hill: Revelation is as follows:
For years, Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
