Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar Adds Michael Caine

Michael Caine part of Nolan's InterstellarChristopher Nolan’s Interstellar is shaping up to be a good one. We still don’t know much about the movie’s plot other than it being heroic voyage to the further reaches of scientific understanding, but we do have more about the Interstellar cast.

Last month, it was announced that Matthew McConaughey would star as the lead in Interstellar. Not long after that, it was revealed that Anne Hathaway was joining the cast as well. Now we have even more great actors coming in for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.

Michael Caine has signed on to re-team with Nolan again. After having roles in Nolan’s three Batman movies, as well as The Prestige and Inception, the two will be back together as Nolan has brought on Caine to join the cast of Interstellar. That’s quite the nice boost to the cast of this secret project. But that’s not all.

According to Deadline, Jessica Chastain is also in talks to join the cast. This marks another nice grab for Nolan and crew and should make for a nice follow-up to Zero Dark Thirty for Chastain.

Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar is currently set to release in theaters on November 7, 2014. Nolan is directing and also rewrote the screenplay originally written by his brother Jonah. Christopher Nolan and Emma are producing with Lynda Obst.

I can’t wait for this. Nolan has not failed to impress me yet. And the addition of Caine is even better!

Nolan can do no wrong, in my opinion. Well, maybe he can one day. But to this day, he’s like the Pixar of directors. Hasn’t made a bad movie yet. I’ll always be right there to watch whatever he puts out.
