The Incredible Burt Wonderstone Conjures Up Summer DVD and Blu-ray Release

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone DVD and Blu-rayWarner Bros Home Entertainment have announced a DVD and Blu-ray release date for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. The comedy starring Jim Carrey and Steve Carell didn’t fare too well at the box office, not even gaining it’s budget back. So, producers are looking to pick up some of that lost money come June. The company has announced the movie will release on DVD and Blu-ray on June 25, 2013.

The DVD release of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone will only come with a gag reel as the sole extra feature on the disc. Meanwhile, the Blu-ray release will include the gag reel, along with deleted scenes and alternate takes. It will also feature a “Making Movie Magic With David Copperfield” featurette.

No box art for either release has been shown yet.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone also stars Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde and James Gandolfini. It is directed by Don Scardino from a script by Jonathan M. Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas Strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burt’s growing ego. But lately the duo’s greatest deception is their public friendship, while secretly they’ve grown to loathe each other. Facing cutthroat competition from guerrilla street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt, even their show is starting to look stale. But there’s still a chance Burt and Anton can save the act – both onstage and off – if only Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.
