With filming set to begin this May, more news is coming out for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This time we have a big name coming through. Reports are stating that Robert Redford is in talks to join the sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger.
It’s being said that Redford is being signed on to have a senior leadership role in S.H.I.E.L.D., the organization ran by Samuel L. Jackson. Chris Evans will, of course, be reprising his role as Captain America. It’s also been previously reported that Cobie Smulders will be making an appearance in the movie as well.
Emily VanCamp signed on not long ago to play the female lead for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
On top of everything, rumors suggest that MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre will have a role in the movie, too. According to rumors, he’ll be playing the role of the villain Batroc the Leaper.
