A couple of years ago, we reported that Troy Duffy talked about the possibility of a Boondock Saints TV show. Now it looks like we’re going to get something even better: the sequel we’ve all been longing for, Boondock Saints 3. While nothing is in production, Norman Reedus does confirm that Troy Duffy and the gang are working on it.
In a recent interview, Walking Dead star Norman Reedus confirmed that he was in L.A. During his stay in L.A., Reedus says he is set to meet with Boondock Saints co-star Sean Patrick Flanery and director Troy Duffy about getting Boondock Saints 3 off the ground.
“It’s definitely in the works. Look for it,” said Reedus. “It’s gonna be crazy.”
So, obviously those three are very much intent on bringing the MacManus Brothers back for a third movie in the Boondock Saints franchise. And according to Reedus, moves are being made behind the scenes to give fans what they’ve been clamoring for. Here’s to hoping they can also convince Willem Dafoe to come back, after that teaser they left us with at the end of Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.
Anybody else excited to hear moves are being made on this? Think it will actually pan out finally, or will we be waiting another 5 years?
