‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance’ DVD and Blu-ray Release Date

Sony Picture Home Entertainment has announced the home video release of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. The movie will release on DVD and Blu-ray on June 12th, 2012. It will be released in a DVD package, Blu-ray pack, as well as a 3D Blu-ray release. You can order the movie HERE.

The only bonus feature on the DVD will be deleted scenes from the movie. The Blu-ray release will include that as well as a director’s commentary and a six-part making-of documentary for the film. The 3D Blu-ray will also come with an exclusive 3D feature, ‘Riding Into Another Dimension’.

Synopsis:

Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in GHOST RIDER™ SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. Still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter, Johnny is hiding out in a remote part of Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil. At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance stars Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba, Ciarán Hinds and Violante Placido. The movie is directed by Crank directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.
