‘Safe House’ Locks Down a DVD Release Date

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced a DVD and Blu-ray release date for Safe House. The crime thriller starring Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington will hit shelves on June 5th, 2012. It will be released as a single-disc DVD as well as a Blu-ray Combo Pack.

The DVD and Blu-ray both will come with four featurettes: ‘Making of Safe House‘, ‘Hand-to-Hand Fighting’, ‘Building the Rooftop Chase’ and ‘Inside the CIA’. The Blu-ray will come with an additional three featurettes: ‘Behind the Action’, ‘Safe Harbor: Cape Town’ and ‘Shooting the Safe House Attack’. The Blu-ray also comes with Ultraviolet and a Digital Copy.

Synopsis:

Tobin Frost (Oscar® winner Denzel Washington), one of the CIA’s most dangerous traitors, resurfaces in South Africa after eluding capture for almost a decade.
