New TV Spot for ‘The Cabin in the Woods’

The horror thriller The Cabin in the Woods premiered to great reviews at SXSW this year. Now, we’re only about 3 weeks away from getting to find out for ourselves if the film from Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard lives up to the hype.

The movie has promised something special and buzz has grown for the movie. I think the movie has some real promise. But, given the premise and what I’ve seen, it appears it’s going to come across very gimmicky or turn out to be great. Early reviews seem to point towards the latter.

While we wait for the theatrical release, we have a new TV spot teasing us of things to come.

Five friends go for a break at a remote cabin in the woods, where they get more than they bargained for. Together, they must discover the truth behind the cabin in the woods.

The Cabin in the Woods is directed by Drew Goddard, from a script he wrote with Joss Whedon. The movie stars Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Chris Hemsworth, Jesse Williams, Kristen Connolly and Anna Hutchison.
