‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ Coming To DVD This Summer

Warner Home Video have announced the DVD and Blu-ray release date for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The hit sequel will release in stores on June 12th, 2012. The movie will release in a single DVD, as well as a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack. You can pre-order the movie HERE.

The DVD will come with 3 special featurettes. Meanwhile, the Blu-ray Combo Pack will include 5 additional featurettes, including behind-the-scenes videos and a study of the Sherlock Holmes character hosted by Robert Downey, Jr.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is directed by Guy Ritchie. The movie stars Robert Downey, Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Rachel McAdams, Jared Harris, Stephen Fry and Eddie Marsan.

Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey, Jr.) and his longtime trusted associate, Doctor Watson (Jude Law), take on their arch-nemesis, Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris), with the help of Holmes’s older brother Mycroft Holmes (Stephen Fry) and a gypsy named Sim (Noomi Rapace).
