Since Frank Darabont’s complications behind the scenes of Walking Dead, he has moved on to put another project in the works. His next project is L.A. Noir, a TV series based on a book by the same name. L.A. Noir is based on a true story which chronicles the feud between LAPD and mobsters.
Jon Bernthal (Shane on Walking Dead) is looking to hook back up with Darabont signing on to star in this latest project. Reports now indicate that Heroes alum Milo Ventimiglia has signed on to play a mob lawyer.
Frank Darabont will write the series. He will also executive produce along with Michael De Luca and Elliot Webb from TNT. Furthermore, Darabont is slated to direct the pilot episode of L.A. Noir.
