Antonio Banderas to Play Picasso in ’33 Days’

Antonio Banderas has signed on to play the famous artist Pablo Picasso in an upcoming movie. The movie, titled 33 Days, focus on the time in Picasso’s life when he painted his famous piece Guernica.

33 days is the time Picasso spent painting the famous Guernica. The movie will also focus on Picasso’s relationship with Dora Maar during that time.

The movie is going to be both a French and Spanish language film. 33 Days is being directed by Carlos Saura. Shooting is set to begin in summer of 2013.
