Daniel Radcliffe Makes His ‘SNL’ Hosting Debut

It looks like SNL is looking to bring in some new blood for the younger crowd. For the first time ever, Daniel Radcliffe is set to host Saturday Night Live. His debut will be on the January 14, 2012 edition of SNL.

This debut will be just three weeks prior to the release of his next movie The Woman in Black. So, I’m sure there will be promotion going on for that movie.

I have to wonder, though: Why now? It would seem they would have wanted to get Radcliffe in there when Harry Potter was still going on to really cash in on that. Instead, they wait till he’s moving past that to bring him in.

It should still be good, though. Daniel Radcliffe was funny in Extras and should fair well in SNL as well.
