‘Due Date’ Dash Giveaway

As you may have noticed from my weekly DVD feature, Due Date is out on DVD and Blu-ray this week (February 22nd). In light of this, The Couch Potato Club has teamed with Warner Bros to bring you a chance to win a copy of the movie along with some cool Due Date swag or a rental of the movie. Along with this, comes an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from the movie which you can see below (all other participating sites received a different video as well that will help in aiding you to narrow down which blog is my travel companion). Now that you’ve watched the clip to get you in the mood for the movie, let’s move on to tell you how you can win a copy of the Todd Phillips comedy. With this contest, Warner Bros have enlisted a handful of blogs in a sort of scavenger hunt type game. The premise is simple: in spirit of Due Date we’ve each been partnered with a “companion site”. Your job: simply to find out which of the other sites is our companion. To do this I will be giving you a few clues. Follow these clues and provide the right answer, and you will be entered amongst the pool to win one of the 6 prizes. The grand prize winner will receive a digital copy of Due Date as well as some cool Due Date swag courtesy of Warner Bros. Five runner-ups will receive a code for a free rental of the movie.

Now, for the clues:
1. My companion is from the land of a certain pill-popping “King”.
2. My companion site’s “Greetings From..” Due Date clip takes place in the same state that Dr Pepper calls its birthplace.
3. My companion site cautions readers that “some material may be inappropriate for IQs under 100″.

So there you have it. That should be enough to get you on your way as far as clues are concerned. If, for some ungodly reason, y’all fail to get it after those then you should probably give up on dreams of anything resembling success in life. But I will add more clues later if this proves too hard for some. Also, below I will help you in keeping this from being a “searching for a needle in a haystack” event as I provide you with the full list of participating sites to narrow down your search.
