Johnny Depp to Make a Western Movie

A new listing has popped up on IMDb for a film titled 1000 White Women. Not much is given about the movie other than a short plot synopsis and a couple other tidbits. Amongst those tidbits, though, is that the film is being produced by Infinitum Nihil Productions. Infinitum is Johnny Depp’s production company. Depp usually likes to work, in some capacity, on any film that his production company does.

1000 White Women is to be based on a novel by the same name from author Jim Fergus. Consequently, the listing also has Jim Fergus as the man who is writing the script. The project is currently in the script-writing process.

The movie is western based on the story of white American women that move west in order to become brides to American Indians in the name of peace and assimilation.
